Captain Paul Watson

example graphicFor more than 20 years, Captain Paul Watson has been at the helm of the world’s most active marine conservation organisation. Merging his career as a master mariner with his concern for wildlife, Watson co-founded Greenpeace in 1972 and served as First Officer on all the early Greenpeace voyages to protect whales. In 1977 Watson established the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and put the first conservation enforcement vessel, Sea Shepherd into action. Captain Watson’s lifelong dedication to the protection and conservation of marine wildlife and eco- systems has never wavered. He and his volunteer crew raise awareness, champion the defenceless and fight for the preservation of bio-diversity

CD Cover"I am very grateful to all the artists for creating this first ever, all-Australian compilation cd for Sea Shepherd. The proceeds will help us continue our 30 year fight to end illegal whaling on the high seas. The slaughter of the great whales has no place in the 21st century. For the oceans!”
